The Life Hack A Day Project


Lately I've found myself itching for a personal project.

Maybe because we're reaching the midway point of the year, maybe because the weather is FINALLY nice, or maybe just to break up the monotony, but I've been trying to come up with a challenge that I can do for a month.

At first I thought I should do a self improvement project... but honestly the idea didn't thrill me. I wanted to do something a little hard, a little silly, something I could blog and think about that wouldn't get monotonous after 30 days. Something FUN.

Then one night I was scrolling through Pinterest when it hit me. I turned to Kris FULL of excitement because I had decided what my June Project was going to be: Life Hack a Day

A New York Minute


When you think of vacation, you often think of a whole week off. Lazy days on the beach, or sitting in a café, hours to shop and think of nothing but where you should stop and have your next drink.

But then there's the other kind of vacation. The kind where limited time leads to reckless enjoyment and forces you to make decisions about what you truly want to see and do!

It may shock you to find out that I actually prefer the second kind of vacation. While I appreciate that long lazy days are maybe more relaxing, I think there is something so fun about travelling in a hit-and-run fashion and foregoing maybe just a little too much sleep in the name of enjoying every single minute.

So when I had the opportunity to spend a whirlwind 42 hours in New York (including travel and airport time!) how could I possibly say no?

It's a good thing the city never sleeps!

5 Tips For Eating Mindfully


It seems like just yesterday we were ringing in the new year, and now bikini season is just around the corner!

How is it possible it manages to sneak up on me every year?

If you're anything like me, you like to wring every last DROP out of hot summer weather. 

Living somewhere where it's cold (or at least chilly) for most of the year has me embracing those 6 weeks of true bikini weather like a long lost friend.

So of course, I want to look my best while doing it!
