Picking Nail Polish Colours For Spring

Spring is around the corner and the warm weather is FINALLY on its way!

It's time to peel off those socks, look down at your toes, and realize you need a pedicure. Desperately.

I'm a big lover of nail polish, I've always been a "toe polish" kind of girl, but in recent years I've embraced the finger polish as well. It used to drive me crazy, but for whatever reason I've done a 180 and now I rarely go without it.

Now that the flats and sandals are about to be making their way back into my wardrobe, my focus is on finding nail colours that compliment each other, but aren't too matchy-matchy.

It's spring after all, lots of colour is okay again!

I tend towards blues, pinks and corals, and avoid my greens and really-red colours (which I save for fall and winter). Dark colours are present, but only when paired either with the same colour family, or in complete contrast to the other colour!

For easy reference, here are some great colour combos, from my favourite polish essie, to make your toes feel spring fresh all over again!

1) "Turquoise & Caicos" and "Meet me at Sunset"

2) "Lapiz of Luxury" and "Aruba Blue"

3) "Van d'Go" and "Double Breasted Jacket"

4) "Resort Fling" and "Play Date"

5) "Turquoise & Caicos" and "Aruba Blue"

6) "Bachelorette Bash" and "Van d'Go"

What's your favourite polish combination? Or your favourite brand to wear?

I'm very essie heavy, but I have my favourite Revlon's and OPI's as well, I currently have OPI's "Shorts Story" on my toes! It's a great spring colour too!

Whatever your favourite, get those nails painted up and show them off!
