Friday Wine Down!

Guys! I'm writing a Friday Wine Down!

I haven't written a Friday Wine Down in MONTHS!

Ok, deep breaths, I'm so excited to Wine Down this week and get the weekend started (for some belated St. Patrick's Day celebrations!) so let's get to it!

Ping Pong Party!

Last weekend, I went somewhere I'd wanted to visit for a long time! Spin in Downtown Toronto.

This sensational bar is a popular spot, because it houses tons of ping pong tables!

the laid back atmosphere, great music, and terrible-to-incredible ping pong playing made for an awesome evening with friends. I can also see it being a great spot for a corporate team building event.

We will definitely be back as soon as we can!

HIIT Workout Exhaustion

Wednesday is one of my "cardio" days on my new workout schedule. I decided to skip the gym and do a workout at home instead.

I've been meaning to follow a HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) routine posted on Physical Kitchness by the lovely Chrissa. This workout calls for light weights, but I decided to go without and focus on getting my heart rate up.

It still kicked my butt!

If you're looking for a quick and great way to work out your whole body in the comfort of your own home with little-to-no weight needed, click on the photo below to visit Chrissa's post:

St Paddy's Pub Night

As you may have read in this post, my Dad recently had surgery to remove a tumor from his pancreas.

He's been home for a few weeks now, is feeling better, sleeping better and eating better!

Last night for St Patrick's Day, we went out for dinner to one of our favourite local bars to celebrate the holiday and my Dad.

I never thought I would be so stupidly happy about getting a chance to go out to eat with my Dad, but it made me a bit weepy.

I can't even begin to explain how incredibly grateful I am that I get to do this mundane thing with him and that all the pain he was experiencing before his surgery is gone.

A happy St. Paddy's indeed!

What I'm Drinking

Considering the holiday, you best believe that this weekend, it's all about the Guinness!

I love a good stout beer, and Guinness is truly the best. Not just the brew but the history surrounding it is so fascinating! Pour me another pint!

Did you celebrate St Patrick's Day? Are you planning on doing just that this weekend? If so how do you remember the Emerald Isle? Let me know in the comments!

Cheers!
