Friday Wine-Down

Happy Friday!!!

Another week gone, and Summer starts OFFICIALLY in just a few days! The days are so incredibly long right now and I'm loving it, the longer I can sit out on my balcony after work, the happier I am!

It's fathers day weekend and I'm heading to the Lake, for some quality time with my dad (and hopefully a game of golf) but first lets do the Wine Down!

Fun with Friends:

It's been a gorgeous sun shiny week (well when it isn't raining) so on Wednesday afternoon I hit the patio with my lovely friend Amanda at Emma's Back Porch in Burlington. One of the only spots in the area that is right on the water.

Plus, they serve the best Fish Tacos and Summer Sangria around. If you're in the Burlington area and it's a sunny day, don't miss it!

TV is ruining my life:

1) Game of thrones: I don't want to talk about it. Does anyone? I don't. I just want you all to know that.

2) Orange is the New Black: I'm only a few episodes in, but I'm loving it. I'm trying really hard not to binge watch it because otherwise TV actually will ruin my life. But it's a really interesting season.

Cottage Country:

Adorable geese, turtles, chipmunks and more! I saw all sorts of great stuff in Cottage Country this past weekend! If you're not following me on My Instagram, I'm always posting along. Follow me or swing by for a visit to see the awesome Snapping Turtle Photo I took last weekend!

I've been pretty camera happy so here's a few snaps from the great outdoors.

Fondue Date Night:

The other day Kris asked me if we could have "that dinner again with the broth and the meat and the dips... but not the cheese one"

Seriously how cute is that?

So we had a nice fondue date night... and also a few bottles of wine ;)

What I'm Drinking:

This week I have a delicious wine with an adorable label! Something my family has affectionately called "The Dog Wine" for years now: Collavini Pinot Grigio

Citrus notes, a soft flavour, and a crisp finish. It's a great evening summer wine to enjoy!

Have a good weekend everyone! If you have father's day plans make sure they are excellent! Try to lay off buying a tacky tie...

Cheers!
