Friday Wine-Down

Happy Friday!

It's time for the Wine-Down. It's been a short work week here in Canada, but I'm still feeling pretty exhausted.

But wine on the patio is making everything A-OK!

Long Weekend!

This past May Long Weekend was absolutely gorgeous. 25 degrees and sunny, lots of fun in the sun with my family, cousins, and best friend! We also had a 4-legged friend with us this weekend which made everything that much better! We were all feeling well fed and relaxed by the end of the weekend, what more could you ask for?

Here are some snaps from our weekend at "Rock, Bought'em"!

Flag Raising

Sadie!

Oh Canada!

My cousin and her Boyfriend

Sibs! Our significant others were "too busy" to come to the cottage. Whatever.

My family :) How cute are my grandparents?

My cousin by the fire, love this shot!

Speaking of long weekends - Happy Memorial Day weekend to my US readers, and happy Spring Bank Holiday weekend to my friends in the UK!

Long weekends all around!

Busy Busy Busy

I don't know why I felt the need to do something every night this week, but I did. I got in all sorts of friend time which meant a lot of going out to restaurants to eat.

I can't complain too much though since Wednesday involved a Moscow Mule with my besties:

Then Thursday night I sat on a patio with the lovely "17-weeks-until-shes-a-mommy" Stephanie for Dessert and Coffee. Super tasty!

Wedding Bells

My friends Chris and Diana are getting married in just a little over a month now. I've got my bridesmaid dress fitting next week, as well as the bachelorette party!

Bridesmaids are all staying at my house the night before and getting ready the morning of the wedding, so I need to pull together some nice brunch foods, some gorgeous staging of the house, and some fun ideas to take us from night to morning.

It's time for me to get my party planning on, which I love to do! And you know I'll blog about it, so get excited!

What I'm Drinking

This Wine Down is brought to you by one of my favourite "go to" wines: Ruffino Chianti!

This is the wine I buy lots of at Christmas for hostess gifts. I do this for a few reasons: 1) it's not expensive, 2) It's delicious, I serve it when I have guests, 3) I love the shape of the bottle.

for $15 what more could you ask for?

Cheers!

What have you been up to this week? What are your plans for the weekend (especially if it's a long weekend)?! How much do you love patio season?
