If you've been asked to bring some kind of vegetable side dish, this could be your answer: Baked Turnip and Apple.

This side dish is a family favourite. It's pretty healthy, easy to make, and it's taken something as weird as turnip (well... rutabaga) and made it sweet and delicious! People will be asking "is this a desert?"; don't be fooled by the crumble topping, this is all veggie and all delicious for your Christmas dinner!

               For the crust
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
